The living and the non living things together makes our world varied and interesting ! for instance , almost all fish swim in water, but some like the red-lipped batfish walk on the ocean floor! Then there's the mudskipper, the only fish to spend most of its time on land instead of in water
There are animals which eat plants and plants such as the Venus flytrap that eat animals! The seed of Coco-de-mer palms weigh an incredible 20 kg whereas the offspring of a Kangaroo, at birth is smaller than a cherry!
A tiny bird,the Arctic tern flies from north pole to the south pole, year after year and the largest living bird, the Ostrich cannot fly!
There are tiny pebbles that sink in water and huge icebergs, that weigh between 100,000 to 200,000 tonnes, and yet they float!
The sharp Quills on the body and tail of a Porcupine , a large rodent, leaps to attention when the animal is scared! Similarly , the Puffer fish inflated itself like a balloon when threatened!
From the coldest places on Earth to the hottest of deserts....from high mountains to the deepest parts under the seas... interesting creatures exist on our planet .There's something amazing about each of them and everything else that is there in our world.
